Los Angeles based Director/Photographer Elizabeth Lippman is a WEBBY, GRAPHY, TELLY and ADDY GOLD-winning Director, Co-creator & Photographer of The New York Times’ Life As A Runway column, Co-creator & Director of Allure's The Power of Beauty web series, Photographer of The New York Time Books’ Beauty bible “Skin Deep”, and a prolific commercial director for brands including UPS, Pfizer, Venus, and The Rockettes.
She was a Chosen Winner in American Photography’s AP 39 (2023).
She is the Director of two Short films, “The Kiss-Off, starring John Ross Bowie, and “Last Seen Wearing, starring David Dastmalchian.
Elizabeth's career background was as a news photographer in Washington, D.C., London, Detroit, & New York, and she endeavors to bring that authenticity and emotional immediacy to her Directing work, using immersive camera work, sumptuous visuals, and bracingly honest interviews and dialogue.
In 2010, her directorial debut, zombie/fashion film mash-up “Last Seen Wearing”, was accepted to the 2010 Sitges International Film Fest & led its famed “Zombie Walk”. Also in 2010, she and her cinematographer partner Jac Cheairs launched 3 Dog Pack Pictures, a photographer/ Director/ DP / production collective.
She’s an active member of the Alliance of Women Directors, Women In Film, and was a participant in the AICP’s and DGA’s 2019 Commercial Directors Diversity Program.
A piece Elizabeth directed for Michael Kors, “Time To Shine”, made history as the first ad to ever run on Instagram.
Elizabeth likes to say she tries to bring humor and humanism to her work.

The daughter of foreign correspondents, she grew up in Cairo, Egypt.
She’s shot and directed hundreds of movie stars, athletes and musicians, dozens of mobsters and politicians, 2 presidents, and even a Saint.
She once went on an accidental date with Mel Brooks. He laughed at her jokes.
